Alternate Ending, Part 2

Alternate Ending, Part 1

The Ending...

In the end, Cunxin managed to find happiness and started living together with his family in peace. He was allowed to return to his family and even though his children may be slightly disabled, he didn't give up.

I think this story has a good ending.

It taught us to persevere and not give up no matter what. An example of this moral would be when Cunxin wanted to give up because it was hard, however to taste the “mango” that his teacher mentioned in a story to him, he did not give up.

Another example of the perseverance would be when Minister Wang did not grant him permission to go back to America, however, Cunxin did not give up in persuading him. Not long later, he was granted the permission to go back after all his hard work.

This story also taught us that keeping silent would not change the situation. When Cunxin was verbally bullied by his teacher for being late, he did not say anything and just felt angry. Teacher Xiao told him to tell the teacher how he really felt, and after doing that, the teacher understood and stopped.
